Allianz Partners USA recently revealed the results of its annual spring break travel index. The insurance and financial services company analyzed more than 3.4 million flight itineraries for spring break trips ranging from five to eight days. Of these, 76 percent are for domestic destinations.
Overall, warm locations are most popular in the United States and abroad. Florida dominates the domestic list, with five cities in the top five, including Orlando in the top spot. Nine out of the 10 most popular international cities are tropical destinations. After not making the list in 2023, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, returns to the 2024 list in the No. 3 spot.
