When you think Antigua, what do you think? Elite Island Resorts hopes you think of a new song the brand created in collaboration with Antigua’s reggae ambassador Causion. The song, “Antigua Me Come From,” incorporates local colloquialisms and promotes the island’s vibes, 365 beaches and hospitality through upbeat melodies and uplifting lyrics. The song has been paired with a music video that likewise highlights the island’s beauty; the video was shot entirely on Antigua and features its jagged coastlines, sandy beaches, historic sites and pristine waters.

As for Elite Island Resorts’ role in the song’s creation, Rob Barrett, chairman, Elite Islands Resorts, said, “I wanted to give the people of Antigua and Barbuda something that shares the beauty and spirit and Antigua with the world for years to come. This amazing collaboration between Elite Island Resorts and Causion captures the essence Antigua and is a project we can all be very proud of.”

Elite Islands Resorts oversees five luxury and all-inclusive properties on the island, including Hammock Cove Antigua, Pineapple Beach Club, The Verandah Resort & Spa, Galley Bay Resort & Spa and St. James’s Club & Villas.

Currently, arrival passengers are not required to present documentation of vaccination for entry into Antigua and Barbuda. For those who do present documentation, no PCR/rapid antigen test negative result is required, unless they show symptoms of infection. Those who do not present vaccination documentation are required to present a negative certified PCR result or rapid antigen test result taken within a certain timeframe ahead of arrival. Those without vaccination documentation are also required to undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival and quarantine 10–14 days.

Are You Ready for the Final Switch to Real ID?

Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming. Now, travelers must show a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued ID in order to fly on domestic flights, in lieu of a non-compliant driver’s license (some other forms of identification, such as passports, will still be acceptable).
