For budget travelers who tend to book rooms without any amenities, Travelsmith developed a personal humidifier that’ll help level out the moisture level for you.The Dual-Voltage Travel Humidifier is compact, lightweight (so it fits easily into your backpack) and distributes a superfine mist.
The humidifier uses high-speed ultrasonic vibration to atomize a superfine mist into the room, hopefully creating the perfect environment within which to sleep after your ridiculously arduous flight.
You simply place a full, plastic water bottle on top and press the button on the humidifier then wait for it to work its magic. Careful, though, you should only use water bottles up to 17 ounces or else you might topple it.
Travelsmith claims it’s the world’s smallest design with this amount of power.
One great perk is the humidifier actually shuts itself off once the bottle is empty so you don’t have to worry about wasting electricity or it running all through the night. The handy machine doesn’t require a converter to work and an adapter plug for European travel is included.
The humidifier is super quiet so it won’t keep you awake at night, and at only $59, it’s a fairly affordable little tool to keep with you on the go.
