Marriott’s Autograph Collection debuted its fourth hotel in Germany, Roomers Munich, in the Westend.
“With its unparalleled location, immersive design and bespoke dining experiences, Roomers Munich perfectly embodies the exactly-like-nothing-else ethos of the brand,” said Brian Povinelli, senior vice president and global brand leader, Autograph Collection Hotels. “We are thrilled to welcome it to our growing global portfolio of 125 distinctive hotels around the world.”
The property offers 281 guestrooms and suites, all with a contemporary decor that incorporates natural materials such as wood, leather and marble. Each boutique hotel room offers a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Nespresso machine, Apple TV, Android Miracast, WiFi and well-stocked bar.
The on-site dining option is IZAKAYA Asian Kitchen & Bar, a shared-dining concept mixing Japanese and South American cuisines. A traditional Robata grill is the heart of the restaurant, and acts as a stage for the restaurant’s chefs. The 360-degree, marble-topped bar provides cocktails and house-infused tonics and sake.
Otherwise, the property offers two other bars, Roomers and Hidden Room, both expected to become nightlife fixtures within the city. Roomers takes its cues from the similar Roomers Bar in Frankfurt, and features beverages with vermouth, sake and sherry bases. Hidden Room is a smaller venue, seating 40 people, and themed after the 1960s.
The on-site Roomers Spa includes five treatment rooms, an infinity Jacuzzi, bar, projection screen and day beds where snacks and drinks are served.
