How many times have you gone to the beach, only to find yourself irritated by the amount of sand sticking to your freshly sun-screened skin? It’s a problem everyone has, but now you can reduce the odds with the Two-Person Sandless Beach Mat.

This beach mat is almost too good to be true, and its price of $59.95 on the official Hammacher website is worth every penny. The Two-Person Sandless Beach Mat has been a secret all this time because it was originally created for military use. The military needed to use it to contain sand and dust when helicopters took off, but now you can throw it in your beach bag for a casual afternoon on the shore.

This bath mat is made of two layers of patented woven polyurethane that instantly filters sand to the beach once its falls on the surface. It also eliminates dirt, dust and water from the surface, which means it’ll be clean throughout your entire trip. Because it’s composed of a strong polyurethane material, you don’t have to be afraid of it ripping or tearing. It also has metal D-rings at the corners if you want to stake it into the ground.

In total, the beach mat is 6-by-6 feet in size, but you don’t have to go with the two-person option — there is a Four-Person Sandless Beach Mat also available on the Hammacher website for $99.95. Before you book your next vacation, make sure this item is ordered and on its way.
