Personal finance website WalletHub recently released the results of its Best Beach Towns to Live In 2017 ranking. The study compared 227 U.S. cities across six key dimensions: affordability, weather, safety, education and health, economy and quality of life. Those dimensions were evaluated using 49 livability factors. Metrics measured include housing costs, beach water quality and school systems.
