Personal finance social network Wallethub recently released the results of its ranking of most pet-friendly cities in the United States. To compile the list, Wallethub analyzed data collected from the 100 most populated U.S. cities across three factors: pet budget, pet health and wellness, outdoor pet friendliness. Those three factors were further analyzed using 19 relevant metrics, including veterinary care costs, number of pet-friendly restaurants per capita and number of dog parks per capita. Each metric was graded and total results were calculated to create the list.
