What makes a city fun? WalletHub created a list of the most fun cities in the United States, comparing 150 destinations by entertainment and recreation; nightlife and parties; and costs.

The nightlife factor considers bars, beer gardens, last call time, breweries and dance clubs. Finally, costs take into account price of beer and wine, club cover charges and food prices.

Taking the top spot as most fun city in the United States is Las Vegas, the renowned Nevada destination home to some of the country’s liveliest nightlife scenes, best food and entertainment and most exciting outdoor adventure offerings. Coming in second place overall, ranking highly for nightlife is Orlando, followed by New York, Miami and Portland in the Top 5.

Tying for first and second for the most festivals per capita was Honolulu and San Francisco, where as cities including Corpus Christi and Laredo, Texas, rounded out the bottom. Unsurprisingly, the best city for restaurants and bars is New York, while the top spot for most acres of parkland per capital is Anchorage, Alaska, followed by Chesapeake, Va., and Jacksonville, Fla.
