When one pictures Bora Bora, they envision crystal clear, blue waters where the sun always shines. For most that visit, this is the reality of the fantastic island. In addition to the famous blue water, the diving scene is amazing. Visitors love to spend time exploring the depths of the ocean. Many are treated to up-close encounters with sea creatures and coral reefs. The dives at Bora Bora will be remembered for a lifetime and create memories.

Toopua/Toopua Iti is a popular spot to go diving. This location is a gorgeous lagoon that will take you through coral reefs and caves. Along the cave route, it’s possible to see tropical fish, eels and giant clams. The dive is 15–100 feet, so not for the inexperienced divers that only want to get a glimpse. Due to the proximity to the bottom, visitors also get to see stingrays up close and personal. This type of experience is hard to come by in other countries.

Tupitipiti is a mouthful to say but a well-known dive spot. Many visitors to the area can’t pass up a day spent at this place because the dive down resembles a long cave. The depth is 150 feet, so prepare for going down deep. There are movie-like canyons and caverns filled with many species of fish and marine life. The dive is only possible during calm weather conditions so plan accordingly.
