Macau’s history as a Portuguese colony means its cuisine includes a mixture of Portuguese dishes as well as Chinese cuisine. Portuguese Egg Tarts

Arguably Macau’s most famous food, these three-bite treats consist of pastry shells filled with an incredibly rich custard bruleed on top. You’ll find these throughout the city, but the best are at Lord Stow’s in downtown Coloane.
