Bollywood Theme Park to Open in Dubai

Dubai Parks and Resorts announced the opening of Bollywood Parks Dubai, a first-of-its-kind theme park that showcases rides and attractions based on some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters. The park is now the largest integrated theme park destination in the region with 16 cinematic rides, six themed restaurants and five distinct park zones.

The world-class park combines elaborate music, dance and advanced technology to offer unforgettable experiences such as virtual reality ride, Krrish: Her’s Flight and a 4D theater laser gun ride, Sholay – The Hunt for Gabbar. The park also recently unveiled Jaan-e-Jigar, the region’s first Broadway-style Bollywood show at the Rajmahal Theatre. The cinematic spectacular is a cultural celebration with bold costumes and authentic music. The theater offers guests a choice of 30 live shows inspired by Bollywood films such as Rock On!!, Don, Lagaan, Sholay, Dabangg, Mughal-e-Azam, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, RA.One and Krrish.

Dubai Parks and Resorts comprises three theme parks: Bollywood Parks Dubai; MOTIONGATE Dubai, a unique theme park showcasing some of Hollywood’s most beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios and Lionsgate; and the region’s first LEGOLAND Park and a LEGOLAND Water Park. The entire destination is connected by Riverland Dubai, a retail and dining destination at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts. Six Flags Dubai is expected to open in 2019 and will be the destination’s fourth theme park and the region’s first Six Flags theme park.
