Amazon Local allows you to search by location (among the 50 states) or by one of the following four categories: restaurants and pubs; entertainment and travel; shopping and services; and health and beauty. You can spend hours browsing discounted prices on all sorts of experiences like online guitar lessons, online CPR courses or a healthy snack home delivery service. It’s just like buying a discounted book or movie on Amazon, except you can purchase a few nights in a magical manor on the coast of Maine at a cheaper rate than you will find on other websites.
The United Kingdom version of Amazon Local also offers theater tickets, lunches at fancy restaurants and other local experiences throughout the U.K. With any hope, Amazon Local will soon be available all over the world.
