Claiming it’s the most versatile travel bag on the market, Breaker One Bag debuted on Kickstarter recently. The carry-all bag is designed with more than 20 storage compartments to hold everything you need to travel in one, durable bag. The bag was created over a five-year labor of love, inspired by the need for a backpack for spontaneous travel adventures.

“Our goal was to create a single backpack that would travel and function for you, so that packing became automatic, rather than an additional stress when traveling,” said Jon Paul White, founder and lead designer. “With the Breaker One, we have simplified packing and created a perfect companion for traveling, one that we can trust will protect our belongings.”

The resulting bag is made from a water- and abrasion-resistant nylon, with 12 compartments, six organizational pockets, a water bottle holder with drain, a laundry bag, accessories pouch, TSA-approved toiletry bag and technology organizer. Other features include a removable hip belt, reflective tabs, a tripod holder, bottle opener, rain cover, key hooks, top and side carry handles, sternum strap with whistle, removable messenger strap, safe-storage pockets, padded laptop and tablet pockets, compression straps, a rip-stop lining and water-resistant zippers.

“We embraced the idea of travelers breaking out of their rut and getting out and doing what gives them joy,” White added. “The Breaker One embodies the idea of being the one bag you need to take, no matter where you go.”

For a Kickstarter pledge of $179 or more, you can get the early-bird edition of the Breaker One Bag, delivered in October, as compared to the $279 market price.
