A new small-ship cruise in Indonesia from AdventureSmith Explorations puts travelers up close and personal with the destination’s wildlife and culture, with 24- and 12-guest ships embarking on nine-day trips to and from Flores Island between April and August.

The cruise focuses on time spent off the boats, and activities featured on the itineraries include visits to Komodo National Park, coral reefs, volcanoes, villages and markets. Snorkelers will come face to face with local marine life and passengers can, uniquely, snorkel over a volcano’s underwater geothermal fissures.

The itinerary starts at $5,200 per person and cruise fare includes accommodations and meals, airport transfers, non-alcoholic beverages, laundry service, guided excursions, and use of snorkeling gear and kayaks or canoes.
