Alt City NA Bottles and Beers, Grand Rapids, Michigan

A pair of brothers recently opened a completely alcohol-free liquor store in the heart of Grand Rapids. Here, customers can find a large selection of traditionally alcoholic beverages, including zero-proof wine, spirits, beer and cocktail mixers.

The RoofTop at Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey

Jersey City’s premiere rooftop bar not only offers panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline but also boasts a menu of craft mocktails and light bites. Winter mocktail favorites include a Hot Apple Toddy, as well as mocktail classics like Cucumber Mint Breeze and Blue Punch.

Dallas, Texas

This Texan city offers multiple options for an alcohol-free evening. At Fearings, opt for Fortunity, a mocktail comprised of Navarro pinot noir grape juice, orgeat almond syrup, lemon juice and tonic. Over at Joe Leo, enjoy the trio of spirit-free tipples, including Dessert Pear Spritz, Hibiscus Mockarita and Winter Sunshine. Dallas’ Las Palmas, a Tex-Mex joint, provides several delicious mocktails, including strawberry limeade and Mexican chocolate milk.

Within this beautiful hotel lies a bar and restaurant situated just inside the lobby. Here, bartender Kate Wise concocts craft drinks for both drinkers and nondrinkers. Some of her favorite mocktails include Temperance Irish Coffee, Adam’s Raspberry Sour and Caffeinated Cookie.

Over on the West Coast, California features many options to enjoy a dry January. Soft Spirits in Los Angeles County opened last fall and offers a curated selection of premium nonalcoholic beverages. The New Bar in Venice serves as another spot to purchase zero-proof wine, spirits, beer and aperitifs. Spots like Ocean Beach Café in San Francisco also serve nonalcoholic craft cocktails and alcohol-free beer and wine.

Those in Los Gatos should visit Faux Real Bottle Shop, a new store boasting dozens of zero-proof spirits like tequila, gin and rum, as well as non-alcoholic wine, beer and aperitifs. In Fresno, Bone Dry Sober Bar, originally a pop-up bar, now settles permanently in the area.
