This exclusive adventure is available to book year-round and gives small groups a chance to discover a side of the glacier most never see. This new tour takes travelers into the largest glacier in Europe through the Crevasse Track, a path created by Arctic Adventures to highlight the glacier’s twisting cracks, narrow paths and deep crevasses shaped by years of shifting ice. This allows travelers a safe and accessible way to explore the frozen world.

Guests begin the tour at Arctic Adventures Booking Center in Skaftafell, where they will receive safety gear such as crampons, ice axes, helmets and tips on how to stay safe. The hike itself will last between 1.5 and two hours on the ice, providing time for photographs, glacier facts and more.
