February is the shortest month of the year and at its center is Valentine’s Day. Many people have strong feelings for or against this holiday, while others have a hard time remembering it exists. If you are tired of winter and the daily grind, but don’t feel Valentine’s Day is enough celebration, break February up with a different holiday this year, or perhaps more than one.
Time and Date marks a holiday for every day of the year. Although, most of these are fictional, there is no reason not to celebrate public sleeping day on Feb. 28, or random act of kindness day on the seventh. Take part in a holiday every day of the month if you need to. You can bring your own clear sense of tradition to any of the many holidays listed.
On the other hand, if you like the idea of celebrating a holiday that actually exists, take a look at the list for February 2018; there are some interesting options. By far, the most exciting is the fact Chinese New Year falls in February this year. Celebrations for the Spring Festival begin Feb. 16 and are the perfect way to say goodbye to winter for good.
