Fitbit, the popular wireless-enabled wearable activity tracker, measures heart rate, sleep quality, monitors weight and exercise, steps walked, stairs climbed and many other personal metrics. The gadget helps you stay motivated in order to improve your health through its tracking measures.

There are several Fitbit devices to choose from, all with different capabilities, depending on your specific needs and goals. Whether you want to simply track your daily steps or use heart rate to take your fitness to the next level, there is a band for everyone. The Fitbit website will show wristband features, specs and any other information you may need to know. Choose between the Zip, One, Flex, Flex 2, Charge, Alta, Charge HR, Charge 2, Blaze and Surge. Fitbit also has a smart scale, Aria, to help stay on track with charts, graphs, wireless syncing and much more.

Fitbit devices track steps, distance, calories burned, hours and quality slept, stairs climbed and some track heart rate. The app allows your device to wirelessly sync to your phone via Bluetooth. In the app, you can set goals, view progress, earn badges, log food and water, count calories and much more. Stay motivated by connecting and competing with friends.

Fitbit Premium, $49.99 a year, allows fitness enthusiasts to receive more insights and additional stats to reach goals. In premium, you can compare your data against the Fitbit community, your age group and many other categories; analyze food reports; collect nutrition recommendations; see a history of activity trends; track sleep stats; and receive a 12-week fitness plan trainer.
