Adventure tour company Big Chill Adventures invites thrill-seekers on a trip of a lifetime. The Glacier Chaser tour explores the rugged and fantastic landscapes of Greenland. Big Chill Adventures co-founders geologist and glaciologist Dr. Sarah Aciego and photographer Mindy Cambiar will lead the trip, scheduled July 25–Aug. 5.
The 12-day journey highlights all the best Greenland has to offer including exploring glaciers and icebergs near Illulissat, dogsledding on Disko Island, wildlife viewing near the ice sheet in Kangerlussuaq, a boat tour of the fjords surrounding Nuuk and a helicopter tour and landing next to a glacial lake.
“The trip focuses on exploring and photographing fantastic landscapes, pristine beauty and exotic wildlife in one of the last frontiers,” said Mindy Cambiar, co-founder, Big Chill Adventures. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to kayak among icebergs, hike through pristine trails and mountain bike.
Prices start at $9,250 per person. The tour includes all transportation within Greenland, flights between Iceland and Greenland, local hotel accommodation, all entrance and activities fees, all meals and beverages (including beer and wine) and all taxes.
