The Gwledd Conwy Feast in Wales takes place every year in this seaside town. The location is picturesque to say the least. Nestled on the banks of the River Conwy in northern Wales, this castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Its castle and walls date back to the 13th century. In addition to majestic historical architecture, this town is also home to the tiniest house in Great Britain. It is roughly 6 feet wide and 10 feet high and deep.
Each year, Conwy hosts a spectacular feast. From Oct. 26–28, 2018, people descended on the city from all over Wales and Great Britain to sample the food. There is a food hall featuring a great variety of items, like Anglesey Craft Cider, local gins, sausage, seafood, herbs and spices, cheeses, preserve, and Christmas puddings. And much, much more!
There are also food trucks featuring street food, like roasted hog, Yorkshire puddings, crispy duck wraps, Persian flatbreads and local seafood. There is no end to the things you will want to try. In addition to the eating possibilities, you can attend any number of musical events and check out the Arts and Crafts makers’ hall, which includes watercolors and iron workers. There are also plenty of activities for kids. Even if you don’t like crowds this feast is worth the trip!
