You need a rental car, but you don’t have time to get a ride to the rental car office and wait in a long line. Similarly, when you’re ready to return your rental car, you don’t really want the added hassle of filling the car up with gas before you drop it off. Enter Kyte.
Kyte is a service allowing you to easily rent cars on demand and then have your rental vehicle delivered to your door. You use the website or app to reserve a car and then the driver brings it to you, wherever you want. When you’re done, the driver picks the car up again, wherever is convenient for you — and, no, you don’t need to fill it up with gas before they pick it up. You get what you want — a rental car — with none of the annoyances you don’t.

There is a deposit required for your rental, and the driver verifies your license before handing the car over to you, but Kyte will accept foreign and international driver’s licenses. Kyte also lets you edit your return or pick-up time, or make a cancellation.
Currently, Kyte is available in San Francisco; Los Angeles; New York City; Jersey City, New Jersey; Miami; Atlanta; Boston; Philadelphia; Chicago; Denver; Fort Lauderdale; Seattle; Portland; and Washington, D.C.
