HometoGo, the marketplace with the world’s largest choice of vacation rentals, released its findings in its Beer Lovers Index, revealing the top 17 cities in the United States for beer buffs. The report included factors like the cost of beer and number of breweries, brew pubs and beer bars, as well as accommodation prices for nearby vacation rentals.
Chicago, Illinois, took the top spot as the best destination for beer lovers, with a total of 156 beer stops. Portland, Oregon, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, followed closely behind, with Denver, Colorado, and Seattle, Washington, rounding out the top five cities for brew buffs.
The report also found Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, ranked 10th in the study, offers the most affordable pint of beer for $4.12. The report also noted travelers can expect to pay an average $334.88 per night this fall at vacation rentals located near one of the best places for beer lovers.
As a whole, California produces the most craft beer in the country, while Vermont consumes the most beer.
