Argentina is a vibrant country, full of spectacular food and wine, passionate dance and unique cultural attractions. It’s the perfect destination for a couple looking for a one-of-a-kind honeymoon.

The large country offers something for every type of traveler, so begin planning by selecting where in the country you would like to explore. If you have time, opt for a long honeymoon so you can see more of the country. Generally, September through March are the best months to visit.

Consider these destinations for your honeymoon:

Buenos Aires

Start your honeymoon in this cosmopolitan capital city. The city offers many romantic locales. Check out the intimate bars, restaurants and shops in Palermo and Recoleta.

Argentina’s wine capital, Mendoza, is a perfect destination for oenophiles. Situated in the northern part of the country, the happy couple can also bask in views of the Andes Mountains.

Iguazú Falls

Spanning Argentina and Brazil, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Iguazú Falls is one of the most mesmerizing waterfalls in the world.

Located in the Patagonia region, Bariloche is known for its Swiss-style skiing, delectable chocolate shops and lake views.

The resort town is located at the southernmost tip of Argentina, affectionately nicknamed “The End of the World.”

El Chaltén

Adventurous couples, head to El Chaltén. The area in Los Glaciares National Park offers numerous trails to take in glaciers, rivers and waterfalls during your hike.
