Traveling with can be a pain, and once you have two pairs in your suitcase this often becomes five and well, now you’re in trouble and checking bags.
Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign, an Italian company may have just sorted out a way for you to get this suitcase real estate returned to you while giving you multiple options — say five, in no more space than a single pair of shoes.
Shooz (the company) offers the first modular, customizable option for hiking and jumping off a waterfall by day and hitting the club that night in roughly the same shoes. The company does this by offering a skin and a sole, detachable and interchangeable through the use of zipper that can be hidden beneath a pant cuff for the more formal occasion.
This isn’t an endorsement, a sales pitch, but from a wingtip to a metallic skin with different sole options, they sure as hell make packing shoe options easier and are certainly better than,say, Crocs. That said, look forward to seeing these shoes in the wild.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal.
