I’m not going to suggest the United States doesn’t offer numerous locations to enjoy the changing of the leaves each fall, from Yellowstone National Park and Door County Wis., to Vermont and places in between. However, the Catskills have been a favorite of those visiting the Empire State and those who call New York home for centuries. However, the ability to simply drive around has not been around for centuries and is the preferred means for many to enjoy as much as possible.

Sure, you could go hiking in the Catskills with a tent, but you can also go glamping and you’ll likely need a car to do it. The brilliance of the car in this case is you can take in so much in simply getting there.

Blue Hills Farm Tent and Breakfast provides a truly unique experience. They not only have a fantastic treehouse if you fancy something ultra-cozy for breakfast, but also offer tents nearly reminiscent of an African safari. This is a massive tent with all the amenities, though doesn’t offer much in the way of elephants, lions and giraffes. Its secluded locale will give you all sorts of opportunities to enjoy the fall foliage.
