The city’s LGBT history goes back to the first settlers in the area, with reports of indigenous people celebrating gay culture. Equity Foundation is a grant writing organization with the purpose of funding groups and programs advancing the LGBT community. Cascade AIDS Project is a community-based provider of HIV services, education and advocacy.
