Bath and beauty company Lush is known for its handmade cosmetics and potent scents that invade the nostrils upon entering one of the shops. Lush’s uniquely themed lines of soaps, shampoos and other eco-friendly beauty products set them apart from competitors, leading to an inventive array of travel-sized products that are not only small enough to fit in carry-on bags, but also offer efficient ways to stay fresh and clean on your next trip.

One of the innovative products is a solid shampoo bar that becomes sudsy when combined with water. The compact, round bar rests in a metallic tin and can be easily tucked away with other bath products in your luggage. In the shower, rub the bar over your hair anywhere from three to five times and it will exude a foamy substance with which you can massage and cleanse your hair. The shampoo bar can be purchased in store or online starting at $9.95.

Once you have thoroughly cleaned your hair, proceed to moisturize your locks with Lush’s solid conditioner. Although it may seem oxymoronic to use a solid bar to condition your hair, the bar itself is a bit softer than the aforementioned shampoo bar. Just like with the shampoo bar, the conditioner bar can be smoothed over hair a few times and then rinsed. The conditioner bars come in varieties depending on your type of hair, and can be purchased online or in stores starting at $10.95.
