If you already have (and love) a Marriott Bonvoy credit card, you now have even more to love thanks to Marriott’s recent revamping of this card and its benefits.
As announced in July, the card now comes with a Travel Now, Pay Later benefit that allows you to split up the cost of qualifying travel purchases with Marriott Bonvoy airlines and hotels. You can then pay for those travel costs in equal monthly payments, with no interest or fees. The perk applies to travel purchases between $100 and $5,000.
You can also earn more on certain card purchases. For example, you’ll now earn double points on every $1 spent on grocery store purchases, ride share services, food delivery, streaming, internet, cable and even your phone bill. You’ll also now receive automatic Silver Elite status, which comes with priority late check-out, as available. To top it off, you’ll get five Elite Night Credits every calendar year, so you can work toward that next Elite tier.
“We relaunched the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase with the goal of helping new and existing cardmembers make their travel dreams with Marriott Bonvoy a near-term reality,” explained Khary Barnes, managing director and general manager, Marriott Bonvoy Co-Brand Cards, JPMorgan Chase & Co. “The addition of the new benefits and features will help the card reach new audiences, with our research demonstrating that both 2x on these everyday purchase categories and the Travel Now, Pay Later benefit highly resonated with Gen Z and millennial audiences.”
