More and more travelers take photo and video of their adventures, with some managing to monetize their content. The MeVIDEO tripod aims to make recording easier without adding unnecessary pounds to your luggage. It’s lightweight and compact, so it won’t take up precious room in your bag, and it’s packed with features.
Along with great stability, there is a video head combined with a leveling column, so you can level the camera without readjusting the legs. This attention to detail extends to the high-quality materials, with aluminum and carbon fiber options available.
You can get the tripod on its own or as part of a kit. The Cine Kit includes a carry case, a Tenba cable organizer and a Tenba Toolbox, while the Go Anywhere kit also features a Tenba Cineluxe backpack. The tripod itself is available in a choice of black or titanium in both packs.
The company put together a successful Kickstarter campaign, which means the tripod will ship to all backers in January 2018. Other customers can order the tripod for the standard retail price of $499 for aluminum and $699 for carbon fiber.
If you’re keen on video and in the market for a new tripod, it looks like the MeVIDEO range will be worth the investment.
