You’ve always wanted to spend the night at a museum and now is your chance. The Los Angeles Natural History Museum’s Adults Only Sleepover gives guests a chance to sleep in the Dinosaur Hall and get a snack peek behind the scenes of the museum.

The Natural History Museum has been hosting Adults Only sleepovers for four years, twice in August and twice in October. These 21-plus all-nighters feature a fun scientific lecture, open bar (courtesy of Angel City Brewery), activities including scavenger hunts, a dance party and a movie screening. Despite some mild disorganization, the event was a rare chance for grown-ups to have a sleepover party in an exciting, new location and maybe learn some science in the process.

A basic ticket costs $135 per person with optional add-ons such as breakfast and an exclusive tour. Roughly 200 people attend and spaces fill up fast, so sign up early online. Bring your sleeping bag and camp out among the mammals — activities end around midnight so it’s perfectly feasible to get some shut-eye but the real fun is visiting the Insomniac Zone and staying up until 4 a.m. However, don’t expect access to your car — the parking lot closes at 9 p.m. and reopens at 7 a.m.

Overall, the Natural History Museum’s Adults Only Overnights are a fun way to experience a new side of the museum and get a small dose of science. The open bar and friendly staff are other huge draws. Bring some friends and get together to nerd-out all night.
