JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Cards partnered to launch the new Teach the Love contest to send deserving teachers on exciting edu-vacation trips, celebrating these teachers’ specialties and personal interests. Championed by celebrity spokesperson Derek Hough, the contest accepts nominations through Nov. 9.
Hough, a supporter of education through his philanthropic commitments and time as an instructor on Dancing with the Stars, wants to extend his appreciation for gifted teachers with this contest.
Current and former students over the age of 18, as well as parents and fellow teachers, can nominate a standout educator for a chance to win a memorable trip. Three grand-prize winners can select from five education-inspiring destinations. Flights, hotels and experiences are fully covered.

The five destinations are Kahului, Maui, Hawai’i for marine biology fans; Chicago, Illinois, for fine arts and architecture lovers; Washington, D.C., for American history enthusiasts; Palm Springs, California, for geology buffs; and Nashville, Tennessee, for music connoisseurs.
In addition to three teachers winning the grand prize, seven runners-up will be chosen to receive 30,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards points for use toward their own edu-vacations.
