We’ve all done it before — the summer ritual when you find a spot on the beach, sneak a look right and left and stash your wallet in a shoe, in full view of everyone on the beach. They’ve all done the same exact thing as well.
Unfortunately for the thieves who have caught on to the shoe trick, AquaVault is an innovative solution to this common conundrum. Made famous by an appearance on Shark Tank, this locking safe is made to clip on most beach furniture, locking your valuables and anchoring them from theft. The device can also be used on golf carts, tables, bikes, beach umbrellas — anything with something sturdy that can fit in AquaVault’s locking mechanism.

The safe is made out of high-impact ABS thermoplastic, so it’s not going to break off whatever it’s clamped on to. Of course, there is the risk thieves can just carry the chair/table it’s clamped to, so try to find something heavy that can’t be taken surreptitiously. The three-digit combination lock is reprogrammable, and with 120 square inches of space, there’s plenty of room for phones, wallets, keys, sunglasses and more.
