Thousands of New Yorkers gather in Greenwich Village for this yearly Halloween parade in their best costumes to enjoy music, dancers, artists and more. It is currently considered the world’s largest Halloween parade, and definitely not one to miss. The parade is held Halloween night at 7 p.m.

Salem hosts creepy Halloween events all through October, one of the most noted being The Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball. The ball is held Oct. 27, for a night of live performances, food, psychic readings and witchy rituals.
Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival —Derry, Ireland
This four-day festival in Ireland draws in thousands into the vibrant city, and is one of Europe’s biggest Halloween celebrations. The main attraction out of all the events is the Spooktacula Carnival Parade with music entertainment and a fireworks display to close the event.
New Orleans Krewe of Boo — New Orleans, La.
New Orleans is full of spooky treats year-round, but their official Halloween festival takes the cake. It is held Oct. 21, the Saturday before Halloween. Events include a full-sized float parade and plenty of bead throwing in good New Orleans fashion.
