Park City, Utah, is preparing for the 2014/2015 Winter season, and the area’s Montage Deer Valley will kick off the ski season Friday, Dec. 5, with a number of cold-weather activities for skiers and non-skiers alike.
One of the top-rated ski destinations in the country, the resort offers ski-in/ski-out access, more than 200 acres of gladed terrain, three high-speed chairlifts, a Ski with a Pro experience with Olympian Shannon Bahrke and an Interconnect Adventure Tour that allows guests to ski six resorts in one day.
Non-skiers will enjoy the Winter Wonders Guide, a collection of 30 activities including snowshoeing, tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, dog sledding, train rides and fly fishing. The nearby Utah Olympic Park is an excellent option for all visitors to the area, affording the opportunity to watch top athletes train in Nordic jumping, bobsled, luge and skeleton.
Compass Sports, the resort’s year-round activities center, assists with all planning, including customizing ski equipment, purchasing lift tickets, booking lessons and waxing skis.
