So you lead a rough and tumble lifestyle, compromise nothing to get to the top of the mountain, aren’t happy unless there is dirt under your fingernails. Andnow you’re getting married and you’ll be carrying around an expensive piece of equipment on your left hand from here to eternity. What if that ring can’t keep up with you? Fear not, ‘o intrepid warrior! QALO has your back.
QALO was born out of just this frustration. They asked why we should let our wedding rings get in the way of our active lifestyles. Then they created the Quality Silicone Ring. The rings are a safe, functional alternative to traditional wedding bands. They are created out of 100 percent medical grade silicone which has a tensile strength of ~172N (men’s) and ~120N (women’s), and an elongation of ~489 percent. In layman’s terms, whatever you throw at the ring, it can take it. The rings come in a variety of colors and are all less than $20.
Wear it at the gym, wear it at the shop, wear it scuba diving; by never having to take it off, the ring accomplishes what a wedding band sets out to do. But the rings, and QALO itself, are more than just a rugged alternative. They are a lifestyle. “At QALO our mission is to inspire people to uphold the commitments that lead to the best life has to offer. We seek quality, strive for health and fitness, selflessly love our families and appreciate the outdoors. These are, for us, the core pursuits of an amazing life and we hope our products, and specifically our rings, can become symbols for a commitment to these worthy endeavors,” explains Taylor Holiday, VP Marketing/husband/father of some crazy twin boys, QALO.
QALO (which stands for Quality, Athletics, Love, Outdoors) rings are just what they claim to be: A perfect alternative for the couple who won’t let a diamond stand in the way of adventure.
