With the capacity to sail 746 guests, Seven Seas Grandeur’s inaugural season begins this month and discovers the Mediterranean and the Caribbean with a wonderful range of 18 sailings in the regions, including two trans-Atlantic voyages. While the first voyage sets sail Nov. 18 the ship will be christened at an elegant and exclusive gala event set to take place in Miami on Dec. 10.
Inspired by the past and stunningly reimagined for the future, Seven Seas Grandeur will provide among the highest space- and staff-to-guest ratios in the industry and will be home to a multimillion-dollar art collection. Designed by award-winning Studio DADO, on board guests will find captivatingly reimagined designs for signature restaurants Compass Rose and Prime 7, as well as refined style and contemporary, yet timeless finishes across 15 accommodation categories.
The palatial, $11,000-a-night Regent Suite spans 4,443 square feet and sits on the 14th deck. The two-bedroom suite features an in-suite spa retreat, private balcony (one of the largest at sea) with a Tresse Minipool, along with a litany of extras like the free personal car and guide to explore ashore and personal butler.
The multimillion-dollar art collection will house 1,600 pieces (predominantly featuring contemporary art), including multiple Picassos, a nearly 40-foot-tall handwoven tapestry The Enchanted Tree and the first Fabergé Egg to permanently reside at sea. Another notable piece in the collection is the custom-made bronze and hand-cast glass Bonsai Cherry Tree Sculpture by Savoy Studios.
Onboard, guests can take part in Pilates, yoga and aerobics classes in the more than 4,000-square-foot gym; or book a restorative treatment at the spa for massages, body wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures and exclusive treatments curated especially for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The ship will also feature four captivating entertainment shows including Pasión, which celebrates the captivating tango; Ignite the Night, which fuses dance and style; the Marauder’s Ball, which promises guests an adventure; and ICONS, which will present a contemporary V.I.P. concert experience.

Insta FeedAre You Ready for the Final Switch to Real ID?
Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming. Now, travelers must show a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued ID in order to fly on domestic flights, in lieu of a non-compliant driver’s license (some other forms of identification, such as passports, will still be acceptable).
