The Tate Modern in London will host a retrospective on the career of Texan artist Robert Rauschenberg through April 2.
Visitors to the gallery will be shown a variety of works by an artist well known for his influence on trends in the global art scene. Rauschenberg made use of a huge number of different mediums in his works, ranging from painting to performance art.
The Tate Modern exhibition marks the first time in 35 years a major show of Rauschenberg’s work has been put on display in the UK. It’s a perfect opportunity for fans of the artist to see his works in the flesh, and those unfamiliar with Rauschenberg to become acquainted with a true artistic heavyweight.
Since his death in 2008 there have not been any other retrospectives of Rauschenberg, giving extra significance to the exhibition. It is expected to draw visitors from around the world.
Among the most famous works are large pop art prints of celebrities and dirty sheets covered in brush marks. The Tate Modern exhibition will challenge visitors as much as it entertains them, and is certainly worth a visit if you are in the British capital. A standard ticket to the exhibition costs £18.50 ($23).

The babymoon trend is adding to the number of women traveling while pregnant. Expecting moms often need special items to take on the road. If you plan to travel while pregnant, you may want to consider adding these products to your suitcase.
For most of us, time in the car is “me time.” You can listen to that podcast you’re captivated by, blast that pop song and sing along at the top of your lungs or listen to the next chapter in that biography e-book you’re almost finished. A road trip only amplifies those opportunities. So, next time you’re traveling by road, take the wheel and take control. Opt for a rental car on your next vacation, rather than a rideshare, taxi or public transportation, and enjoy the open road on your own terms.
Online shopping continues to soar in popularity with more people choosing to browse an entire catalogue of options instead of making a trip to the store. It makes sense because people are busy and sometimes don’t have time to spend hours browsing a store only to buy a few outfits. When shopping online, people can buy items sporadically or fill up carts and purchase them later. Online shopping is now more than just searching on the web, it’s also swiping through an app. Apps make it easier than ever to keep up with sales, new items and trends.
