Seabourn is offering a new, one-of-a-kind on-board entertainment option to cruisers on upcoming sailings. The luxury cruise line launched an Authors at Sea program, which will run through the next year, featuring various award-winning, best-selling and otherwise notable authors, including Debbie Macomber, Lady Sandra Howard, Lord Jeffrey Archer, Robert K. Wittman, Ann Cleeves and Zelda La Grange.
“Onboard entertainment and enrichment are so important to the Seabourn experience, and our Authors at Sea program brings together celebrated writers to connect with guests in a meaningful way through engaging conversations and interactive sessions,” said Handre Potgieter, director of entertainment and enrichment, Seabourn. “We are dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences and memorable moments at sea, and this new program was designed to further inspire and enrich our guests when they sail on Seabourn.”
In addition to discussing their works at various events, some of these authors will also host writing workshops for aspiring authors, as well as, in Cleeves’ case, a live murder mystery event. Authors will also join cruisers for meals and on-shore excursions for one-on-one conversations with travelers as they go about Seabourn’s immersive itineraries.
