Stand-up paddleboarding, or SUP, has become something of a phenomenon in recent years. It’s an excellent sport for people who love to be out on the water but aren’t exactly thrilled with the idea of getting plowed over by a wave. Instead of riding on a surfboard, SUP involves standing on a board and paddling around the water much like you would in a kayak, just on your feet.

Australia is one of the foremost SUP spots in the world, thanks to calm waters and some fairly epic scenery.
