When travelers encounter wet weather, they are usually stuck relying on whatever shoes they packed in their luggage, and chances are the on-the-road shoe collection does not include rain boots. But what if there were a brand of waterproof shoes that not only protected travelers’ feet from getting wet, but also possessed a chic style to serve as an everyday shoe?

The Cougar shoe brand sells a line of waterproof shoes in 14 different styles so women can sport dry feet without sacrificing fashion. One such boot comes in a Kensington Chelsea style, the brim of which reaches the mid-ankle, preventing splashes of water from entering the shoe and dampening feet. This style also comes in eight color combinations, from plain black to black and blue to black and houndstooth, among other designs.

To keep your ankles even drier, opt for the Kismet mid boot ($100) that extends to the mid-calf or the Kerns rubber rain boot ($120) that rises all the way to the knee. Cougar also sells low-cut shoes that mimic regular slip-on sneakers and cost $80 per pair.

All of Cougar’s shoes are made from genuine leather and feature memory-foam insoles, a nonslip sole, comfortable knit lining and a slightly wedged heel.
