Stay Fit on a Saint Lucia Vacation with BodyHoliday

Wellness tourism is one of the fastest growing tourism segments and The BodyHoliday, Saint Lucia’s No. 1 premier health and wellness resort, is offering a groundbreaking way to stay fit on your next island excursion. The BodyScience program combines genetic testing and preventative Eastern practices to give guests genetically grounded roadmaps to longer, healthier lives. This is the first time a program of this type has been offered at a Caribbean resort.

Ahead of arrival, guests are asked to provide a series of home-based tests and DNA samples and answer an extensive questionnaire. BodyScience experts analyze the information. Upon arrival, guests receive a consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor, as well as on-site tests, including heart rate, blood pressure, cardio and aerial fitness, body fat analysis, 3D heart mapping and lung capacity.

Testing establishes the guest’s body type to ensure they are exercising to their full potential and avoiding injuries. They also clarify food types good and bad for the body; the resort’s wellness chef will cook personalized dishes for guests. Participating guests will be given access to a password-protected, personalized web room to access and analyze their results. The program launched this month.
