Billed as the world’s first foldable smart mobile theatre device, the Royole-X is a headset that works as a mobile theatre for watching movies and shows, a wearable PC and an audio/visual station that enables you to play video games on the go.
Gone are the days of tangled ear buds plugged into jacks with crappy reception and screens that might be too far from your face to view. Slip these bad boys on and you’re treated to a headset that includes 3300 PPI displays and noise-canceling headphones to tune out the annoying baby in row three. The Royole-X even comes with ambience lighting.
The headphones are large enough to cover the entire ear for maximum comfort, while the leatherette material makes it feel like you’re cupped by a cloud. They even include touch wheel control so you can easily switch between pictures, music and settings.
The headset supports five video input connections including wireless streaming, WiFi sharing, HDMI, USB OTG and 16GB of digital storage.
The Royole-X Smart Mobile Theater recently starting shipping to Indiegogo investors with plans to make it available for the public later this year. The current price is $629, but that could increase depending on added features.
