Perhaps the single most important item for travelers to keep secure while on vacation is their wallet. Without currency, credit cards, travelers’ checks and a photo ID, those in foreign areas might find themselves in trouble.
Leather manufacturer Royce designed a new product to protect this important accessory: the freedom wallet. Each wallet is made from RDIF-blocking material, preventing tech-savvy thieves at airports or other heavily trafficked tourist destinations from stealing valuable credit card information. Additionally, the Royce Freedom Wallet uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology to keep track of lost items. By using the provided smartphone app, users can sound an alarm to locate nearby wallets, or examine the GPS map to find its current location.
The Royce Freedom Wallet for Men ($99.98) is made of a fine top-grain Nappa Leather and is available in black and coco.
The Royce Freedom Wallet for Women ($99.98) is a longer design made of Saffiano Leather and is available in black and red.
The Freedom Wallet app works with most newer smartphones and tablets including Apple and Samsung products. Each wallet can be personalized for an additional $15 for initials and $25 for full names.
