The Bower Coronado is now accepting reservations ahead of its February debut on Coronado Island in San Diego County, California. Located on the grounds of a former Japanese tea garden, the property officially debuts Feb. 28.
Architectural firm Delawie and SFA Design honor the tea garden grounds in the property’s design, utilizing natural materials and calming tones. The 39-room boutique hotel offers a personalized approach to hospitality, beginning with a transaction-free check-in experience in place of the traditional front desk. Enjoy luxurious in-room amenities including Dyson hair dryers and Le Labo bath products.
Guests may select from tailored local excursions including private art gallery tours and sailing experiences. The property will house Coronado Island’s first and only rooftop bar and restaurant, Dive, offering visitors panoramic views from California to Mexico.
“The Bower Coronado represents a transformative moment for the island, introducing a contemporary vision of luxury while celebrating its vibrant history and community,” said Sean Murphy, general manager, Bower Coronado. “Every detail is intentional, designed to feel both deliberately crafted and intuitively natural. We are thrilled to welcome guests to The Bower, where they’ll discover an authentic Coronado experience elevated to new heights.”
