In honor of the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary year in 2016, resort operator Forever Resorts invites guests to discover their favorite National Park with the Find Your Park: One Night, One Dollar initiative. Now through Dec. 31, 2016, Forever Resorts encourages its guests staying at resorts in and adjacent to national parks to designate $1 per night of their stay for a non-profit organization benefitting the National Park Service.
The public awareness campaign invites the next generation of visitors, supporters and volunteers to discover the beauty of the national parks. There is a national park in every state. Forever Resorts’ properties participating in the campaign can be found in parklands including Badlands National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Big Bend National Park, the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Mammoth Cave National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
Funds from the campaign will support improvements to national parks. Forever Resorts projects the campaign will raise more than $175,000. “People enjoy supporting causes close to them and we know our guests love our national parks just as much as we do,” said John Schoppmann, executive vice president, Forever Resorts. “We want to make it easy to have a memorable vacation and do something that makes our guests feel good at the same time.”
Find and support your favorite park and share your story on the website.
