London’s biggest jazz festival features more than 2,500 artists playing more than 300 gigs in 50 venues around the British capital.
The EFG London Jazz festival celebrated its 23rd year this month, and consistently receives plaudits from music fans. The festival features performances from household names as well as next-generation jazz talents. Alongside the concerts, organizers put on a varied program of other events including commissions, club events and talks.
For residents and visitors alike, the EFG London Jazz Festival offers a diverse range of music venues at more than 30 gigs per night. For 10 days, London turns into a paradise for jazz lovers, while casual fans can appreciate the huge variety of events on offer.
The BBC broadcasts some of the shows. London offers a smorgasbord of cultural events year-round, but the EFG London Jazz Festival features among the most important in the world for jazz.
