Parker’s at Thompson Central Park New York recently opened, transforming the hotel’s newly designed lobby atrium with live music, an elevated ambiance, crafted cocktails and contemporary American fare.
“We are thrilled to introduce Parker’s to New York City, and provide a glamorous space for New Yorkers as well as travelers to connect with the music, art and culture surrounding our landmark hotel,” said Matthew Slippoy, general manager, Thompson Central Park New York. “Since first opening last fall, we’ve been looking forward to unveiling the new lobby lounge and redesigned atrium space, creating even more opportunities for our neighbors and hotel guests to joyfully experience Thompson Central Park New York.”
In homage to New York City’s musical past and named for late jazz musician Charlie Parker, the new hotel and cocktail bar are located nearby Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall. In collaboration with Jazz Foundation of America, Parker’s hosts regular, live music performed by local artists.
Imbibers can expect a range of traditional cocktails with seasonal touches at Parker’s, alongside its signature cocktails named for New York’s famed jazz songs. The Come Fly with Me features bourbon, Oloroso Sherry and maple syrup. Shareable American dishes complement the drinks for dinner, with breakfast and lunch menus also available.
Other hotel eateries include Burger Joint, Indian Accent and in-room dining, including a partnership with Milk Bar.
Parker’s opens 6:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m.–1 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
