Venice

This capital city of the Veneto region in northern Italy is made up of more than 100 tiny islands, all connected by boat or gondola. The canal system is the most popular mode of transportation, after walking and biking through the cobblestone streets. The Grand Canal leads to Saint Mark’s Basilica in the Piazza San Marco in the heart of Venice. The winding canal system, Renaissance-era and Gothic architecture create a unique and exceptional city.

 

Positano/Amalfi Coast

Positano and the Amalfi Coast offer incredible natural beauty and quaint village living. Just a short walk from the vibrantly painted city of Positano lies the pristine beach lining the coast of Amalfi. Both villages, located side by side, boast scenic hikes, swimming, boating, shopping andfresh seafood.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is incredibly walkable; some areas don’t allow cars once inside the town.
