Smartphones and tablets are a great way to stay connected while traveling, but, let’s be honest, they’re not the most efficient means of getting work done. Those tiny screens are difficult to type on, meaning emails take forever to write.

The MultiSync Foldable Travel Keyboard by Kanex is the perfect solution. The lightweight, durable keyboard syncs through your phone or tablet’s USB port or by Bluetooth 3.0, making it compatible with most recent devices on the market. It’s compact enough to fit in your carry-on and comes with a protective case to help prevent damage.

The keyboard folds together and sticks through the help of an imbedded magnet and is able to detect when you open it — it turns itself on. To keep power to the device, you simply plug it in to any available USB outlet. An LED indicator will let you know when you’re running low on battery.

The layout is ergonomically designed in a V-shape to help keep your wrists from wearing out while you work. It’s the perfect companion for an on-the-go executive or blogger extraordinaire needing a more sensible way to type out fast emails or posts.

At $49.95, it’s a great deal at an affordable price.
