With the growth of the subscription box industry, it seems there’s a box to fit every need and whim. Whether it’s razors, food or new clothes, it’s easy to find a service ready to deliver cute boxes directly to your doorstep. Fortunately for travelers, Try The World offers a subscription service that will satiate the travel bug itch … at least for a while!
Try The World brings you a box every two months built around a certain destination. For example, the first box anyone new to the service receives is the trademark Paris box. Every month, customers receive food and goodies designed to impart some of the local culture. The company partners with local chefs to pack their boxes with delicious treats with authentic flair, ranging from cookies to cooking ingredients to tea.
The boxes may not be cheap at $39 per box without a subscription (which drops to $33 with a one-year commitment), but it is cheaper than hopping on a jet for Rome, Istanbul or Paris. For foodies with a taste for the international, it’s a chance to explore local cuisine in the comfort of home, while for those who aren’t too fond of getting their hands dirty in the kitchen it offers a glimpse of cultures from around the world.
